SHOW ARP
Syntax
show arp
Parameters
None
Modes
User Exec mode and Privileged Exec mode
Description
Use this command to display the entries in the ARP cache. The ARP
cache contains mappings of IP addresses to physical addresses for hosts
where the switch has recently forwarded packets. See Figure 67 for an
example of the information displayed by this command.

Field Description
ARP Cache Timeout Displays the ARP timeout value that an
ARP remains in the ARP cache
Total ARP Entries Displays the number of ARP entries on
the switch.
IP Address Displays the IP address of the node.
MAC Address Displays the MAC address of the node.
