Port ID Numbers in Commands

Here is the format for port ID numbers in commands:

port1.0.

n

The n variable is the number of the port you want to configure on the
switch. The two digits in the prefix “port1.0.” are used with modular
products and with products that support stacking. To specify a port
number on the DC2552XS switch, which is not a modular product and
does not support stacking, you must always use the prefix “port1.0.”

This example uses the INTERFACE PORT command to enter the Port
Interface mode for ports 1.0.12 and 1.0.18:

awplus> enable
awplus# configure terminal
awplus(config)# interface port1.0.12,port1.0.18
