NO MAC ADDRESS-TABLE STATIC
Syntax
no mac address-table static macaddress forward|discard
interface port_id vlan vid
Parameters
macaddress
Specifies the MAC address. The address must be specified in the
following format: xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx.
forward
Forwards frames containing the MAC address as a destination
address.
discard
Discards frames containing the MAC address as a destination
address.
port_id
Specifies the port ID from that the switch forwards frames
containing the MAC address as a destination address.
vid
Specifies the ID number of the VLAN that the specified port is a
member of. The range is 1 to 4,094.
Mode
Global Configuration mode
Description
Use this command to delete static entries of MAC addresses from the
switch’s MAC address table. You must enter all of the parameters to
delete a MAC address entry from the table.
