REBOOT
Syntax
reboot
Parameters

Mode
Privileged Exec mode
Description
Use this command to reset the switch. This command is identical to
“RELOAD” on page 102.
The command displays a confirmation prompt.
Caution
The switch does not forward network traffic while it initializes its
management software. Some network traffic may be lost.
Note
The switch discards any configuration changes that have not been
saved. To save your changes, enter the WRITE command or the
COPY RUNNING-CONFIG STARTUP-CONFIG command before
resetting the switch. See “WRITE” on page 156 or “COPY
RUNNING-CONFIG STARTUP-CONFIG” on page 149.
Example
This example resets the switch:
awplus> enable
awplus# reboot
