A new encryption key is saved in the Flash memory of the switch when
you enter the command. After entering this command, you do not have to
enter WRITE command or the COPY RUNNING-CONFIG STARTUP-
CONFIG command to save your changes on the switch.
Examples
This example creates a DSA key:
awplus> enable
awplus# configure terminal
awplus(config)# crypto key generate hostkey dsa
This example creates an RSA key with a length of 1280 bits:
awplus> enable
awplus# configure terminal
awplus(config)# crypto key generate hostkey rsa 1280
