This command sets the national bit in the E3 frame ‐ bit 12.

Syntax of the “no” Form
The no form of this command sets the national bit to the default value:
no national bit
local line
Local loopback mode loops the entire bandwidth of the T1/E1/ISDN‐PRI
line toward the network. Use external equipment to verify that the T1/E1/
ISDN‐PRI port is connected to the line.
local payload
Same as Local line, it merely loops back the T1 payload, that is, the XSR
generates framing at 1.536 MBytes/sec.
