The following example sets the XSR to wait 30 seconds from the time it received the last query
before it takes over as the querier for the interface:

This command sets the Time‐To‐Live (TTL) threshold of packets being forwarded out an interface.
Syntax
ip multicast ttl-threshold ttl-value
Syntax of the “no” Form
The no form of this command sets this threshold to the default value:
no ip multicast ttl-threshold

Zero ‐ all multicast packets are forwarded out the interface.
Example
The following example sets the TTL threshold on a border router to 20. Multicast packets must
have a TTL greater than 20 in order to be forwarded out this interface:
