Line Module
This field indicates the line module number of the port currently displayed.
Entering a different line module number and pressing F10 transfers the screen to
the same port on the new line module.
Virtual Link Number
Each Virtual Link Number must be unique and range from 1 to 255.
Enable This Virtual Link
This option enables this definition of a virtual link. The default value is Yes.
Transmit Area ID
This is the non-backbone area across which the virtual link goes through. See
Table 18-1 on page 1-295 for reserved and available IP addresses.
Router ID of Area Border Router
This is the Router ID of the virual link’s other endpoint. See Table 18-1 on page
1-295 for reserved and available IP addresses.
Virtual links are automatically created with the actual IP router software. ✍
