I - Wait for Host Connection.
The normal setting is N. See page 173 for further
information.
J - Virtual Address.
When set to Y indicates the address has no direct relationship
with a physical device. It is usually used in a dial-up application to establish
logical connections between devices on the network. The normal setting is N.
K - Send CR Only.
When this option and option E are both set to Y, then only a
carriage return is sent to the station after each received input. The normal setting is N.
L - Spool printer.
The normal setting is N if no printer is used on this port.
M - Flush input For Unknown Address.
This option is for Group addresses only.
When set to Y, the port ACK messages received from terminals that are not
defined on the link, then flush the message. See page 176 for further information.
XN Type (Transmission Number)
Several different combinations can declare the type of transmission number used.
The left position of the field indicates the type of transmission number (see
Table 5-3) used while the right position indicates the number of digits, which
ranges from 1 to 3.
