Downloading Firmware for the MultiPro Unit 81
3 Press F10, to access the Line Module Parameters screen is displayed. Program the
listed parameters as follows.
Line Module Type: 9000
Firmware Version: must match the firmware version on the Global
Parameters screen.
4 Press F10.
Downloading the Specific Task Software
Repeat this procedure for each line module.
1 Press Shift+F10 to access the Network Controller Software Upgrade Menu screen.
2 Configure the listed parameters as follows:
Configuration number: (the same number as created in step 2)
Line Module: 1 to 3 in the 6400, 1 to 8 in the 6800
Upgrade File name: _________. INI (The INI file must be in the same
subdirectory as ICP.EXE)
3 Press F10. The display shows:
Number of Tasks:01
Sending task: __________.HEX
BLOCK ___ OF ___ SENT
Press RETURN to continue
4 Wait until LED 1 starts blinking.
5 Set each 9000 card back to Run mode and the thumbwheels to 1, 2, 3, or 4.
6 Remove and apply power to the chassis.
7 Repeat this procedure for each 9000 card.
