Upline Controller
When set to Y (yes), the unit knows another TXPORT unit is connected upstream
and issues a Disconnect command to the upstream TXPORT device when a local
station goes offline. If any stations on this port use transmission numbers, set this
parameter to N. The selections are Y (yes) and N (no).
Host Name
Each Poll/Select Host port must be assigned a name. This may be any combination
of up to 17 alphanumeric characters. A space, or the end of the field, delimits the
entry. This name is used in the terminal’s Default Host field. The default name is
UNISYS.
Backup Host Name
When declared off-line, the port transfers all current station connections to the host
named in this field. By default, this field is (blank).
Unisys Poll/Select
Host Addresses
Each of these parameters is described in the following paragraphs.
Line Module
This field indicates the line module number of the port being displayed. Entering a
different line module number and pressing F10 transfers the screen to the same
port on the new line module.
