This option is available on firmware version 2.56 and later.

This option is reserved for internal use.
H. Keep Message.
When set to Y, the device keeps a message for a device until it
is delivered or the unit is reset. A message can be lost when a device ACKs a
select but NAKs the block of data four consecutive times. The controller must
operate this way to keep the line working efficiently. This option is usually set for
line printers as they have a habit of ACKing selects but NAKing the data because
they do not have enough room available in their buffers. The normal setting,
however, is N. See page 173 for further information.
I. Wait for Host Connection.
When set to Y, the controller stops polling the device
if the host to which it is connected has gone offline. It is not polled again until the
host is marked on-line. The normal setting is N. See page 173 for further
information.
J. Limited select.
When set to Y, the controller flushes the current message after
the Limited Select Count number of NAKed selects. The Limited Select Count can
be a value from 0 to 255 and is found on the NCR terminal port parameter screen.
This option is valid for firmware version 3.10 and higher.
K. No Retransmission.
With this option set to Y, the TXPORT device flushes a
message if the station has ACKd the select, but NAKed the data.
L. Spool Option.
When set to Y, the TXPORT device accepts another message for
the device before the previous message is delivered. This ensures a constant stream
of data for line printers. See page 175 for further information.
M. Wait for EOT.
When receiving a message from a terminal, the TXPORT device
does not forward the last internal buffer to the destination port until an EOT is
received from the terminal. If no EOT is received, the message is aborted.
