5.3.7 Exporting a method
Menu item: Method ▶ File ▶ Method manager... ▶ Method man-
ager ▶ [Edit] ▶ Export…
The selected methods can each be exported as a file named 'Method
name'.mmet with the menu item Edit
▶ Export.... The window Select
directory for export opens in which the directory for export must be
selected.
Note
The exported methods are stored uncoded but with a checksum. If a file
stored in this manner is manipulated, then it cannot be imported again.
5.3.8 Importing method
Menu item: Method ▶ File ▶ Method manager... ▶ Method man-
ager ▶ [Edit] ▶ Import…
With the menu item Edit ▶ Import… the dialog window Select files for
import opens. Here you must select the methods to be imported and the
method groups into which the methods are to be imported. These methods
are imported into the opened method table.
Sample methods
In the program directory under …\tiamo\examples\methods\… you will
find examples of methods that can be imported into an opened method
group.
5.3.9 Renaming imported method
Menu item: Method ▶ File ▶ Method manager... ▶ Method man-
ager ▶ [Edit] ▶ Import…
Methods with the same name as methods already imported can only be
imported under a new name. The window Import method opens for
renaming the method.
Rename imported method 'Method name' after
entering the new method name.
