Universal trunk card - faceplate
The faceplate of the card is equipped with a red Light Emitting Diode
(LED). See
Figure 126 "Universal trunk card - faceplate" (page 491)
When an NT8D14 Universal Trunk Card is installed, the LED remains lit for
two to five seconds while the self-test runs. If the self-test is successful,
the LED flashes three times and remains lit. When the card is configured
and enabled in software, then the LED goes out. If the LED flashes
continuously or remains weakly lit, replace the card.
