See the Transition Configuration section in the Maestro Installation and
Service manual for information about Transitions.

Optional Takes

Grass Valley recommends that the “Pre Roll and-then Take” Transition
technique should be used whenever possible. However, a transition in
progress will immediately move to completion anytime the Maestro
system receives another Pre-Roll Take, or Take command (either manually
or through automation); even if the current transition is not complete at the
time the command is received. For example, once the

Pre Roll Take

button has

been pressed:

If the

Pre Roll Take

button is pressed again, (or an Automation Take or Pre

Roll Take command is received) before the transition is complete, the
transition will immediately move to completion.

If the

Take

button is pressed again, (or an Automation Take or Pre Roll

Take command is received) before the transition is complete, the transi-
tion will immediately move to completion.
