Dual Channel DVE

Dual Channel DVE

The Dual Channel DVE option allows one background bus (audio and
video) and its selected upstream keys to be in a transition window with
another background bus and its selected upstream keys serving as the
background. The AUX bus is utilized with DVE for selecting the second
source.

Note

When a Still image is used as the background for a DVE Effect, the image
must be created at full screen so the image’s position cannot be adjusted. If
the image moves there will be no background available and a green screen
will appear on any region not covered by the full screen still.

When a DVE effect is active:

The content of the active window is the PGM bus.

The content of the background is the AUX bus.

Entering a DVE Effect

A DVE effect is entered by selecting the desired effect and then pressing

Take

. While the selected DVE effect is active, a variety of audio/video tran-

sitions may be performed (also entered by pressing

Take

).

Exiting a DVE Effect

A DVE effect is exited by selecting one of the available exit modes and then
pressing

Take

.
