Pre Roll Take Feature

Maestro now supports a Pre Roll Take feature. This new feature can be used
from either the Control Panel, the GUI Control Panel, or from the
MAESTRO_PREROLL_TAKE Automaton command. For more informa-
tion about automation commands, see the 2.4.0 version of the Maestro
Automation manual.

The Pre Roll Take feature is installed by running the 2.4.0 version of the
Maestro Installer. The Pre Roll Take duration can be set to a default value
using the GPIO definition table or to a preferred variable duration that can
be set using the Source Assignment sub-panel.

Defining the Default Pre-roll Duration - GPIO Definition Table

The default duration for the Pre Roll Take feature can be configured in the
GPIO Definition table. When the Pre Roll time has been defined, it will stay
in effect until the time is changed by entering a new Pre Roll Time.

Before configuring the Pre Roll Take feature, start the Maestro Configura-
tion Editor program. The GPIO Definition table’s hyperlink can be found
in the 5th Step: Input/Output Sets area.

The GPIO Definition table will appear after clicking the GPIO Definition
table hyperlink (
