Notes Text Mode
The DCD signal is in ON state while text is entered.
The echo command E controls the echoing of entered characters back from the TA.
To send the message issue Ctrl‐Z char (0x1A hex).
To exit without sending the message issue ESC char (0x1B hex).
If message is successfully sent to the network, the result is sent in the format:
+CMGS:
where
If message sending fails for some reason, an error code is reported.
Make sure no other SIM interacting commands are issued during the command execution, which may take
several seconds.
It is possible to send a concatenation of at most 10 SMs. The maximum number of characters depends on the
characters if UCS2 is used. If entered text is longer than this maximum value an error is raised

To avoid malfunctions, wait for the +CMGS:
