Paste
↑ –– Use the
button to “paste” a copied inspection tool from
the “clipboard” and insert it before (above) the inspection tool whose
sequence number has the cursor arrow (
→) alongside it. Thus, if the
cursor arrow is located at sequence number 4, the pasted tool will occupy
sequence number 4, while the tool previously at sequence number 4 will
move to sequence number 5.

Options –– Use the
button to make the following selections from
each tool’s
Options
selection panel:
— Enable or disable statistics calculation (for certain tools).
— Enable or disable display of tool graphic in the image field.
— Enable or disable display of tool results in toolset
Results
panel.
— Enable or disable toolset failures from individual tool failures.
— Select a group number for each tool in a toolset.
Refer to the Options Selection Panel section on page 4–31 for additional
information.

Done –– Use the
button to save all newly selected tools and exit
the toolset edit panel. Refer to the Alternate Toolset Save Option section
on page 4–34 for additional information.
•
Cancel –– Use the
button to exit the toolset edit panel without
saving any newly selected tools.
Here is a brief description of the check boxes in the toolset edit panel:
•
Register –– The
Register
check box is used during setup operations to
perform the “register” function, which is active when a check mark (
√)
appears in the box. The purpose of this function is to enable a user to
realign tools to a workpiece that shifted in the image field during run
operations. This function will be active when “
Yes
” is selected in the
Register
field of the
Display
edit panel (“
Yes
” is the default setting),
and inactive when “
No
” is selected. For details about the register
function, refer to Toolset Register Function section on page 4–35.
•
Display All –– The
Display All
check box is used during setup operations
to perform the “display all” function, which is active when a check mark
(
√) appears in the box. The purpose of this function is to display all tools
in the current toolset edit panel, whether or not they are enabled. By
default, this function will be active when “
Yes
” is selected in the
Display
field of the
Display
edit panel, and inactive when “
No
” is selected.
When the display function is active, all tools are displayed in their
currently configured positions. The currently selected tool appears in red;
all other tools appear in green. When the function is inactive, only the
currently selected tool appears in the display.
