Message Logs Window

Basic TestWare toolbar >
The Message Logs window records station and test events as they occur. Events that can be logged include
file events, resource mismatches, hydraulic status changes, station state changes, and detector activity.
Message Log
Description Item
Controls basic Message Logs window functions. Toolbar
Displays the Open Message Log File window, used to open an archived message
log. Open
Saves the current message log. You are given the option to save all messages
or just selected messages. Save
Closes any open archived message logs. Close
Prints the current message log. Print
Displays the Message Log Print To File window where you can save your log as
a text (*.txt) file. Print to File
Displays the Message Log-Add Entry window used to add your own messages
to the message log. Add Entry
Deletes selected messages that were added by the user. Delete Entry
Copies the selected entries to the clipboard. Copy
Enable All Display Options, Date/Time, Severity, and Source selections control
the details displayed in the message log. Display Options
Select to display the Station Manager log, the Basic TestWare log, or other open
archive logs. Log
Check this box to automatically scroll to the newest Message Log entry. Scroll to new entry
