3.2 Shortcuts
In order to use the DSD easier via keyboard, some functions can be accessed via shortcuts.
In order to use the MotionDesigner easier via keyboard, some functions can be accessed via short-
cuts. ( 225)
Keyboard command Function

Exit DSD.
+ Gearbox calculator ( 410)
+ Mass calculator ( 405)
+ Inertial calculator ( 407)
Cancel current action.
Call the "Help" menu.
+ Copy the highlighted element into the clipboard.
+ Edit user-defined selections.
+ Create new project ( 52)
+ Open project ( 54)
+ Saving the project ( 54)
+ Paste the element from the clipboard.
• Only numerical values can be entered into input fields.
+ Exit DSD.
+ Change between multiple opened projects.
Skip to the next control element (input field, button, etc.) within the dialog box.
Keyboard command Function
Delete highlighted element.
• The element is deleted permanently.
+ In order to highlight several elements keep the button pressed and left-click the el-
ements.
+ Highlights all elements on the drawing area.
+ Copy the highlighted element into the clipboard.

+ Shows or hides the grid of the drawing area.
+ Duplicates an element in the drawing area when the element is left-clicked while the Ctrl
key is pressed.
+ Create new motion profile.
+ Load the motion profile ( 234)
+ Save motion profile ( 235)
+ Paste the element from the clipboard.
