In order to indicate dangers and important information, the following signal words and symbols are
used:

Pictograph Signal word Meaning
 Danger! Danger of injuries to persons by hazardous electrical voltage
Note with regard to an imminent danger, which may result in death or severe inju-
ries if the appropriate measures are not taken.
 Danger! Danger of personal injury by a general source of danger
Note with regard to an imminent danger, which may result in death or severe inju-
ries if the appropriate measures are not taken.
 Stop! Danger of damage to material assets
Note with regard to a possible danger which may result in damage to material assets
if the appropriate measures are not taken.

 Warnings! Safety instruction or application note for the operation of a UL approved drive in UL
approved systems
