nsAliasShow
Displays local Name Server (NS) information, with aliases.
SYNOPSIS
nsaliasshow [-r][-t] | -domain domain_id | --help
DESCRIPTION
Use this command to display local name server information with the added feature of displaying the
defined configuration aliases to which the device belongs. If there are no defined configuration aliases for
that device, no alias is displayed. If there is no information in this switch, the following message is
displayed: "There is no entry in the Local Name Server." Use the -domain domainid option to display the
remote device details for a specific domain in the fabric.
The information displayed for each device is the same that is displayed by the nsShow command with
the exception of the additional display of the alias to which the device belongs. Refer to the nsShow help
page for a description of these displays. Use nsCamShow to display information from all switches.
NOTES
The execution of this command is subject to Virtual Fabric or Admin Domain restrictions that may be in
place. Refer to Chapter 1, "Using Fabric OS Commands" and Appendix A, "Command Availability" for
details.
