DESCRIPTION Use this command to display FICON-CUP (Control Unit Port) parameters for a switch.
NOTES The execution of this command is subject to Virtual Fabric or Admin Domain restrictions that may be in
place. Refer to Chapter 1, "Using Fabric OS Commands" and Appendix A, "Command Availability" for
details.
OPERANDS This command has the following operands:
fmsmode
Display the FICON Management Server (FMS) mode for the switch.
modereg
Display the FICON-CUP mode register. If no operand is specified, all mode
register bit settings are displayed. If a mode register bit name is specified, then
only the value of that bit is displayed. A value of 1 indicates that a given mode
register bit is set, and 0 indicates that it is not set.
The following operand is optional:
bitname
Displays the specified mode register bit as either set (1) or not set (0). Valid values
for bitname include the following:
POSC
Programmed offline state control
UAM
User alert mode
ASM
Active=saved mode
DCAM
Director clock alert mode
ACP
Alternate control prohibited
HCP
Host control prohibited
