Path Control Menu
The path an effect takes between keyframes is automatically defined by the
system according to a default for each path parameter. The Path menu
allows you to modify these default parameters through selection of specific
types of motion parameters on a keyframe-by-keyframe basis.
When you are in a menu that has associated path control, the
Path
button
located in the User Assist area to the left of the display will show low tally.
This indicates you can press
Path
to go to the Path Control menu for your
currently selected function. You can also double press the transform
Control Panel buttons to go directly to the Path Control menu for that trans-
form.
If you are in a menu that does not have path controls associated with it,
pressing the
Path
top menu button located in the User Assist subpanel area
will bring up the following menu.
You use this menu to select the top menu tool category and individual func-
tion whose path parameters you wish to change.
Path Control menu functions:
TOOL CATEGORY
— categorizes the path control available by the five top
menus and path associated with the Transformation buttons. The heading
above the SELECT/SCROLL dialogue box will change to match the
