Work Buffer Preferences Menu
DEFINE UNITY KF...
—
stores the current work buffer settings for the display
channel (indicated in the top left corner of the screen) to the Unity KF for
use by the logical, global, and camera channels. Different Unity KF settings
are saved under the following conditions:
■
If a logical channel (1-4) is the display channel, all the display channel’s
settings (including transforms) will be saved to the Unity KF.
■
If a global channel is the display channel, only the global channel’s
transform settings will be copied to the Unity KF. Other existing Unity
KF parameters (borders, crops, etc.) will be retained.
■
If only the camera channel is delegated (and so is the display channel),
only the camera channel’s transform and combiner parameters (on
systems equipped with a combiner) will be copied to the Unity KF. This
is the only case where camera channel transforms are saved to the
Unity KF.
■
If the camera channel and one or more other channels are delegated,
and the camera channel is the display channel, the current combiner
parameters will be copied to the Unity KF, but transform settings will
be copied from the lowest numbered delegated logical channel or
global channel.
Note
Unity KF values are applied to all channels, including Global and Camera chan-
nels. Transform values should be default when the Unity KF is defined, to
prevent multiple application of transforms when the Unity KF is invoked.
RECALL UNITY KF...

buffer(s) of all delegated channels.
RECALL GVG DEFAULTS...

copies factory defaults into the work buffer(s) of
all delegated channels.
