Montage/Strobe
The
MONTAGE
selection allows you to create a montage of still images from
moving video by flying the moving video image around the screen. The
STROBE
selection turns montage on and off at regular intervals.
To access the Montage/Strobe selections shown below, press the
RECURSIVE
MODE
soft button to select
MONTAGE
, and press the
MODIFY
soft button to
select
STROBE
.
LOOP
—
ON
starts the recursive effect.
OFF
stops the recursive effect and
returns to live video.
KEYFRAME RESET
—
ON
resets the loop and starts the effect over at each key-
frame where Keyframe Reset on.
OFF
does not change the frozen image at
each keyframe.
STROBE TYPE
— sets type of strobe that will cause automatic capture of new
images or disables automatic capture. The selections and adjustments
below control the strobe cycle.
NONE
— turns strobe off.
TIME
— captures a new image at an adjustable time interval.
KEYFRAME
— captures a new image at each keyframe.
When
TIME
is selected, the following soft knob appears:
PERIOD
— makes the strobe cycle shorter or longer (shown in frames).
FORCE STROBE
— forces the strobe to turn on or off, depending on whether
there is motion in the transform.
ON
strobes regardless of transform motion.
OFF
strobes only if there is motion in the image transform.
