Non-Transformation Path Control Menus
Many Krystal DPM functions are non-transform (do not move images
around the screen) but they still have path control capabilities. Generally
these functions lack the
SMOOTH
and
CURVE
controls, since there is no geom-
etry involved. A typical non-transform path menu is shown below.
Path menus for these functions offer the following controls.
HOLD
— when
ON
, this selection causes that function’s values to jump from
keyframe to keyframe without interpolation.
PATH TYPE —
path type selections are:
LINEAR
— applies a linear interpolation to the function’s values between
keyframes. The values change at a constant rate throughout the key-
frame duration.
S-LINEAR
— applies an interpolation to the function’s values between
keyframes which includes acceleration and deceleration of the rate of
change at the beginning and end of each keyframe.
