Soft Knob And Transfer Buttons
The four knobs to the right of the menu display are primarily used to adjust
video function parameters.
When a parameter name and associated value appears next to a soft knob
in the menu display, turning the soft knob will adjust the value of that
parameter.
Transfer buttons are located between the menu display and the soft knobs.
Press one of the four transfer buttons to copy the parameter from the adja-
cent soft knob to the Keypad. From the Keypad you can enter an exact
number for a soft knob parameter.
You can also assign the scroll knob to the Keypad to select items from num-
bered lists. Then typing the number and pressing
Enter selects that listed
item.
Display Information — When a Transfer button has been pressed and
the adjacent knob parameter is assigned to the Keypad, the knob
parameter’s name will be highlighted in the Menu Display and the
transferred parameter’s name will show in the Keypad display.
Pressing the transfer button a second time, returns parameter control to the
soft knob only.
Illuminated Button Tally Information
Most of the buttons on the Control Panel can be illuminated to three states
■ High Tally, the button is fully illuminated
■ Low Tally, the button is dimly illuminated
■ Off, no illumination
