Section 5 — File Operations/Macro Menus
Macro Control Menu
Krystal lets you record up the 12 Macros (Macro 1-6 and Macro Shift 1-6).
Each macro can contain up to 100 steps. These macros can then be saved to/
from disk using the
SAVE/LOAD menu located in the File Operations Top Menu.
You can save and load macros to and from floppy disk when the Panel is
not connected to an Effect Manager.
Press the Macro Top Menu button to bring up the menus shown below. The
Record menu is used for creating new macros. The Play menu is used for
menu driven playback of macros. Either menu can be used to delete and
rename macros.
To delete a macro, scroll to the desired macro you wish to delete until high-
lighted then press the
DELETE MACRO... soft button to delete the selected
macro.
To Rename a selected macro, press the RENAME MACRO... soft button to bring
up the keyboard dialogue box, with which you can enter the new name.
Macro Record
Perform the following steps to record a marco:
1. Highlight RECORD by pressing the MACRO MODE soft button.
2. Use the SELECT/SCROLL soft button to choose which macro in the Macro
List you wish to record into. The Macro List box shows up to 8 macros
at a time. The downward arrow indicates more choices are available out
of view. Use the
PAGE UP and PAGE DOWN soft buttons to bring more
selections into and out of view. Use can also use the SCROLL soft knob to
scroll through the macro list.
