Tally Information —
Time Cursor
and
Mark Cursor
are mutually exclusive.
Pressing the
Mark Cursor
button activates the Mark Cursor in the timeline
display. Like the Time Cursor, the Mark Cursor is moved along the effect
timeline using the Lever Arm,
Go To KF Go To Time Next
or
Prev.
buttons. The
difference is that moving the Mark Cursor does not change the current time
of the effect, so the working buffer is not updated. The Mark Cursor is used
to reference parts of the effect for editing without changing the current time
location of the effect (or changing the Working Buffer).
Tally Information —
Mark Cursor
and
Time Cursor
are mutually exclusive.
Note
Run functions update the effect time location and work buffer no matter which
cursor is active.
The
Near
or
Far
buttons, located on the lower Control Panel in the transform
area, are used to delegate the sides of the picture. The
Near
button delegates
the visible side of the picture, and its parameters will appear on the Menu
Screen. The
Far
button delegates the back (non-visible) side of the picture,
and parameters for this side will appear on the Menu Screen. Source
memory parameters can also be assigned with these buttons.
(Holding down the
Near
and /or
Far
button while pressing
Clear Work Buffer
will load
the user unity values for source memory into the delegated side
of the delegated channels.)
Tally Information—The
Near
and
Far
buttons have three states: off, indi-
cating that side will not be effected by changes to source memory
parameters; and high and low tally, indicating that changes made to
source parameters will be applied. Holding down one button while
pressing the other delegates both sides. The first side pressed will be
high tally, and the other will be low tally. In this state, source selection
and changes to source related parameters will apply to both sides at the
same time.
