The
Enter
button is used to complete a numeric entry. When
Enter
is pressed,
the numeric value in the display replaces the value in the working buffer
(except KF Dur). Note that the Enter function is different from the Trim
function which modifies rather than replaces the value in the working
buffer (see Trim button).
The
Trim
button is used to change a displayed parameter by a specific value.
Enter the trim value first, followed by pressing
Trim
. If a negative trim value
is desired, press the
+/-
button, enter the trim value, followed by
Trim
. Since
the last trim value is retained in memory, repeatedly pressing
Trim
will
repeatedly apply the value (there is no auto-repeat). You may change the
sign of the retained trim value by pressing the
+/-
button followed by
Trim
.
Pressing
Detent
will trim the current parameter assigned to the Keypad to
its nearest detent value. Detents are system defined position, size, angle of
rotation or amount of perspective. Some parameters do not have detent
values (like Recall), so the panel will beep to indicate the operation is unde-
fined.
Pressing
Clear Entry
will clear an incomplete entry and display the current
value of the parameter assigned to the Keypad.
E-MEM Area
The E-MEM Area consists of three E-MEM operation buttons.
Pressing the
Recall Effect
button, followed by the desired effect number and
then
Enter
, calls up an effect register. Once the effect has been recalled, the
Keypad becomes undelegated to prevent unwanted or accidental recall.
The Current effect number is assigned to the Keypad in its place.
Recalling the Next Available Register—
The next empty effect register may be
recalled by pressing
Recall Effect
,
•
, then
Enter
.
Press the
Put
button to copy timeline information from all (or the selected)
timelines in the delegated channels in the current effect to a new effect reg-
ister number entered from the Keypad.
Press the
Get
button followed by an effect register number entered from the
Keypad to copy timeline information from that effect register to the dele-
gated channels of the current effect. If timelines have been selected in the
current register, only those timelines will be pulled from the effect register.
