Section 11 — Input/Output Menu
A xor B
— shows A and B video, except where the A and B key signals
overlap nothing is shown.
A plus B
— shows A video where there is only A video, shows B video
where there is only B video, does an additive mix where the two video
signals intersect. (NOTE: This setting may generate video outside legal
broadcast range.)
Clear
— turns off both the A and B video, showing nothing.
Soft Knobs used with this menu include:
MIX LEVEL
— determines if only the selection in the
FROM VAR
column (0
Mix Level), or only the
TO VAR
column (100 mix level), or a mix of the
two selections (intermediate levels) will be output where the A and B
key signals overlap.
COMBINER BACKGROUND >
— provides access to the Combiner Background
menu.
When
DEPTH
is selected in the
MIX MODE
the depth of the key signal is used
to determine the intersection of the video signals.
Soft Knobs used with this menu include:
DEPTH SOFTNESS —
determines the sharpness of the intersection of the
video signals.
COMBINER BACKGROUND >
— provides access to the Combiner Background
menu.
