Crop Menu
Box/Mix
This menu lets you combine both Box and Pattern Crops.
Box Crop Mix menu functions:
COMBINE MODE
— this parameter controls how the Box and Pattern crops
will be combined. These controls exist in both the Crop Box and Crop
Pattern menus, and are linked together.
MULTIPLY
— multiplies the two crop signals. When using this parameter
the softness is applied to both Box and Pattern crops the same way it is
for NAM -, except in MULTIPLY the soft edges are multiplied pro-
ducing a softer transition.
NAM +
(Non Additive Mix) — allows uncropped video from both the
Box and Pattern crop to be visible. This is equivalent to a Logical AND
of the Pattern and Box crops. Note that because cropping removes
image area, this is equivalent to a logical OR of the remaining cropped
image areas.
NAM -
— takes the lesser of the two crop signals and produces more
abrupt edge intersections on soft edges. NAM- only allows the video
that remains uncropped by both the Box and Pattern crops to be visible.
This is equivalent to a logical OR of the Box and Pattern crops, which is
a logical AND of the remaining cropped image areas.
