Section 8 — Picture Frame Menu
Pattern/Selection
Crops can take the shape of one of 45 preset patterns. You choose from a set
of patterns using the
PATTERN soft KNOB, as shown in the menu below.
Crop Patterns menu functions:
You can choose from 45 preset crop patterns in two ways:
■ Press the Transfer button next to the PATTERN soft knob to transfer to the
Keypad to enter a pattern number directly.
■ Scroll through the patterns using the PATTERN soft knob. The pattern
number appears below the soft knob parameter shown in the menu
display (0 to 44).
Note The Crop Pattern numbers correspond to the Grass Valley Switcher wipe
pattern numbers.
PATTERN REPEAT — Allows you to repeat an internally generated crop pattern
in a variety of ways. You can multiply a pattern in both the horizontal and
vertical axes, or multiply each axis independently, and the pattern can be
repeated up to 999.9999 times.
BOTH — Multiplies patterns both horizontally and vertically, with a
single soft knob.
SEP H/V — Multiplies horizontal and vertical patterns separately, using
two soft knobs.
The SIZE soft knob sets the size of the pattern.
