Section 12 — User Assist Menus
GRAPHICS MODE — when WIREFRAME is selected wireframes of the manipu-
lated video edges of the delegated channels, and any selected graphic
icons, are displayed. The Page Overlays and Background Video selections
are not affected by this control.
PAGE OVERLAYS — displays the target space GRID , SAFE TITLE , or BOTH the Grid
and Safe Title information.
SOURCE AXIS — displays an X-Y-Z icon for the source target space of each
delegated channel. This icon is placed at the axis of rotation, which can be
relocated with the Locate Axis transform button.
CHANNEL ID — displays the channel number of each channel selected, along
with a Front or Back designator that shows which side of the current
channel is facing the viewer.
SOURCE ID — displays a user input label for each delegated channel.
CENTER LOCATOR — displays the geographic center of each channel selected.
This always stays at the center of the wireframe, and is not moved by the
Locate Axis
transform button.
LIGHTING SOURCE — This feature is not currently implemented.
BACKGROUND VIDEO — turns on and off the background video, leaving just
the wireframes displayed. This button remains active when the GRAPHICS
PAGE is Off.
Soft Button available for Graphics Display:
SIZE — changes the displayed size of the wireframe, icons and page
overlays. This allows you to see wireframe placement even when chan-
nels have been moved off screen.
