Lighting Menu
SHADE 2 —
used to create shading effects. When the image is trans-
formed, the lights create realistic shading from two light sources. Each
light has both a highlight and a shading component. Highlights for
both sources must be the same color; shading mattes must also be the
same color.
SHADE 1 —
used to create a shading effect using one light source. The
single light source used to create the shading is at full bandwidth.
OFF —
turns the Lighting function off.
Highlight
Press the
LIGHTING MODE
soft button until
HIGHLIGHT
is selected to bring up
the menu shown below.
Use this menu to create lighting effects by choosing one, two, or both light
sources. You can then adjust each light source separately and choose
between a Point, Bar or Plane light source. Lighting can be modified by
choosing their Position in 3D space. The light’s appearance is controlled
through Intensity, Specular Diffusion, Add/Mix Ratio, and Opacity soft
knobs. The light’s Matte is also changed using Hue or Rotation, Saturation,
and Brightness soft knob controls.
Soft button and soft knob functions vary by lighting modes as described
below.
Highlight Lighting Menu functions:
ADJUST
— provides controls through soft knobs and soft buttons for two
light sources:
LIGHT 1
or
LIGHT 2.
Both light sources may be used in an effect
or just one at a time by turning one OFF.
LIGHT TYPE
— you can choose from three light types or OFF.
