Section 10 — View Menu
The Highlight mode provides separate mattes for Light 1 and Light 2 Spec-
ular lighting. The Shade mode provides one matte for BOTH lights’ spec-
ular components. One matte (usually black) is shared by BOTH lights’
Shading and Ambient components.
Lighting Matte menu functions:
ADJUST MATTE — SPECULAR or SHADING matte adjustments are provided by
the soft knobs described below.
HUE ROTATE — activates hue rotation.
ON provides soft knob control for HUE ROTATION SPEED .
OFF provides soft knob control for HUE .
Soft Knob functions include:
SATURATION — controls SPECULAR or SHADING chroma saturation
depending upon which ADJUST MATTE mode you are in.
BRIGHTNESS) — controls SPECULAR or SHADING brightness depending
upon which ADJUST MATTE mode you are in.
HUE or HUE ROTATE SPEED — when HUE ROTATE soft button is set to OFF , this
soft knob controls HUE . When ON , the soft knob controls HUE ROTATE
SPEED . A positive setting controls clockwise rotation speed; a negative
setting controls counterclockwise rotation speed.
