User Assist Area
User Assist Area
The user assist area consists of eight buttons which provide detailed views
of the effect, control of panel operations, and video parameters.
See Section 12-User Assist Menus for more detailed information.
Press the
Timeline
button to cycle through various views of the effect on the
Menu Display including: the Master Timeline, Independent Timeline,
Transform, and Clipboard.
Tally Information — Pressing
Timeline
turns off any lit top menu button.
Press the
Last Menu
button when in a function menu to return to the last
active menu.
Press the
Path
button when it is low tally (in a function menu that supports
path) to set the way that function will be interpolated across the effect.
Press the
Path
button when tally is off (not in a function menu that supports
path) to bring up the Path Control menu. Double pressing the
Path
button
at any time takes you directly to the Path Control menu.
Tally Information — Pressing
Path
turns off any lit top menu button.
Press
Graphics Display
to access the Graphics menu. If the graphics option is
installed, the tools in this menu assist you in establishing the behavior of an
object as it is manipulated in space.
Pressing the
Help
button activates and deactivates the help mode. While in
this mode, pressing any button will bring up a dialogue box describing that
button’s function.
