Combiner Menus
WASH — provides a wash between two mattes. The following controls are
available when WASH is selected:
APPEARNCE allows you to set the rotation (angle), rotate speed, offset,
and slope of the wash matte. OFFSET controls the placement of the wash
transition on the screen. SLOPE controls the sharpness of the wash tran-
sition. The ROTATION MODE soft button determines whether the soft knob
controls angle or speed.
MATTE 1 and MATTE 2 selections allow you to control the Saturation,
Brightness, Hue, and Hue Rotate Speed of each wash matte. The HUE
ROTATE soft button determines whether the soft knob controls angle or
rotate speed.
MATTE — allows you to set the Saturation, Brightness, Hue, and Hue Rotate
of a single color matte.
OFF — turns off the background so the background is black.
2 x 2 Combiner Background
The 2 x 2 Combiner Background menu is used to set the background for the
combiner output video. These controls are only available when the Camera
channel is delegated and is the display channel (first channel delegated).
The combiner background can be any of the following:
VIDEO — uses the externally input background video as the background.
S. BLACK — provides a superblack for background (0 black).
WASH — provides a wash between two mattes. The following controls are
available when WASH is selected:
