Execute the function by pressing
COPY....
After the function completes,
a message appears at the top of the screen indicating whether the
operation was successful.
A “.” may be entered for the “to” register. This will effectively enter the
number of the next empty register.
When a copy block is requested, the operation will not be performed if the
“to” block does not have enough registers to fit all of the “from” block nor
if the “to” and “from” blocks overlap. In these cases an error message will
be displayed.
If the register numbers for the “from” block are entered in descending
order, the registers will copy in reverse order. For example, if the request is
made to copy registers 5 through 1 to register 10, register 5 will be copied
to register 10, register 4 to 11, etc. When the operation has completed, the
message “REVERSE OP DONE” will display.
If the register(s) being copied “to” are not empty, a warning message will
display that requires an OK/Cancel response. If OK is chosen, the reg-
ister(s) being copied “to” will be deleted, and the “from” register(s) will be
copied to the “to” registers.
Swap
The Swap function exchanges keyframe data between two registers. The
data being exchanged is removed from its source register and is copied to
its destination register. To swap register data, use the same procedure as the
Copy function, except select
SWAP
. The operation is similar to Copy, except
no query is done if there are non-empty registers involved in the operation.
Erase
The Erase function removes keyframe data from a single register, a block of
registers, all registers, or the current register. To erase register data, use the
same procedure as the Copy function, except select
ERASE
, and then select
either
SINGLE
,
BLOCK
,
ALL
, or
CURRENT
affected registers.
When an Erase operation has been requested, a warning message will
display and will require an OK/Cancel response.
Append
The Append function adds keyframe data from one register to the end of
the effect in another. To append register data, use the same procedure as the
Copy function, except select
APPEND
.
Requesting an append from an empty register has no effect. Requesting an
append to an empty register will do a Copy register operation.
