Section 8 — Picture Frame Menu
Box/Appearance
This menu provides parameters to control how the crop looks. Press
MODIFY
to highlight
APPEARANCE
to bring up the following menu:
Box Crop Appearance menu functions:
CORNERS
— press to toggle between
SQUARE
and
ROUND
interior crop cor-
ners. The amount of corner “roundness” depends on the softness of the
edges.
INVERT
— press to reverse the active video and the cropped area.
WAVEFORM SHAPING
— controls the soft edge appearance.
ON
gives an S-linear transition resulting in a more smooth appearance.
OFF
gives the softness edge a Linear transition.
Soft Knob controls:
OPACITY
— controls the transparency of the cropped part of the video.
The Opacity controls both the Box Crop and Pattern Crop opacity.
The final opacity of a channel is determined by multiplying the values for
Picture opacity, Crop opacity, Corner Pinning View Through opacity, and
Combiner Channel opacity. See Final Picture Opacity
