Delegating the Front and Back Sides
The same source information can be applied to both sides of the video
image, or the two sides may be adjusted separately. Source Selection menu
operations are applied to the delegated side of delegated channels.
The
Near
or
Far
buttons located on the lower control panel in the Position
Subpanel area are used to delegate the sides of the picture. The
Near
button
delegates the visible side of the picture for source selection and source
parameter adjustments. The
Far
button delegates the hidden side of the
picture for source selection and source parameter adjustments.
Near/Far indicators on the left side of the screen indicate which side or
sides are currently delegated. If both the near and far sides are delegated,
the first delegated side is shown in black and the second side is shown in
gray. Undelegated sides are shown in white.
The window at the top of the menu display in the Source Selection menu
shows the different source information delegated to the two sides. The del-
egated side labels “FRONT SIDE” and “back side” above this window are
shown in both upper case and lower case type. UPPER CASE indicates
which side is currently visible and therefore “Near”. Lower case indicates
which side is currently not visible and therefore “Far”.
Note
The parameters stay with the side to which they are delegated whether or not
they are in or out of view.
