Transform Area
The Transform area contains the controls used for transforming video
images when building an effect. This area of the panel consists of four
logical parts:
■
Time and Mark Cursor buttons; Near and Far buttons
■
Buttons that assign different parameters to Joystick control
■
Buttons that determine how parameters are displayed and how Joy-
stick input is constrained and sent to the system
■
Reference axes buttons.
■
Knob Control and Menu Control buttons
Pressing the
Time Cursor
button activates the Time Cursor in the timeline dis-
play. Krystal has two cursors that may be used to reference times on the
effect timeline—the Mark Cursor and the Time Cursor. The Lever Arm
moves whichever cursor is active along the effect. The position of the Time
Cursor determines the current time in the effect. When the Time Cursor is
moved, the working buffer changes to reflect effect values at the current
time.
