Section 1 — System Overview
Two Channel, Two User Krystal Facility
In Figure 1-17 two Krystal Video Processor channels and two Krystal
Control Panels are incorporated into a facility that has separate editing and
control rooms. The Krystal system is configured to use the auxiliary busses
on the switchers as input source selectors. This lets the Krystal system to
command the switcher to select different Aux bus crosspoints during an
effect.

This installation allows a user in either location to acquire one or both
Krystal channels. The Krystal channels in both rooms are configured for A/
B Input routing. When suite 1 is controlling both Krystal channels, the A
video and key inputs on those channels are automatically selected for use.
