Defocus/Glow Menu
Defocus/Appearance
Pressing the DEFOCUS MODE soft button to select DEFOCUS displays a screen
similar to the following.
MODIFY — selects various sets of Defocus controls. When APPEARNCE is
selected the following controls appear:
CHROMA/LUMA/KEY — allows you to apply defocus separately or in combina-
tion to the chrominance, luminance, and/or key of the image.
ALL — labeled soft knobs control both Video and Key defocus. Range 0
to 100.
SEP V/K — labeled soft knobs control the Video and Key defocus sepa-
rately.
SEP C/L/K — labeled soft knobs control the Chroma, Luma, and Key
defocus separately.
HORIZ/VERT — allows you to apply defocus to the horizontal, vertical, or to
both aspects of the image.
BOTH — labeled soft knobs control both horizontal and vertical defocus.
SEP H/V — labeled soft knobs control horizontal and vertical defocus
separately.
When SEP C/L/K and SEP/H/V are selected, the following soft button appears:
MORE — additional separate controls of the Chroma, Luma, and Key
defocus become available.
CHRO/LUMA — labeled soft knobs control horizontal and vertical Chroma
and Luma defocus separately.
KEY — labeled soft knobs control horizontal and vertical Key defocus
separately.
