Source Memory menu functions:
SRC MEM LOCKED — ON
or
OFF.
ON
— locks source memory parameters to their sources. This is the
normal mode of operation for source memories. In this mode, when a
new video source is selected for an input (for example, assigning
Source 1 to Channel 1’s video input), the source memory associated
with the new video source will become the current active source
memory for Channel 1, meaning that the source memory for Source 1
will be copied into Channel 1’s work buffer.
OFF
— unlocks source memory parameters from their source. Choose
OFF
when you do not want the source memory to update automatically.
For example, you may want to try various sources with a given set of
source parameters. Now different sources may be selected either man-
ually from a control point or by pulling them from keyframes, without
changing the active source memory.
DEFINE EFF SEND...
—
will copy the source memory settings for the delegated
side of the display channel to the Effects Send source memory. When the
Switcher is in Effects Send mode, the switcher performs all source selection
and the Krystal Effects Send source memory parameters will be used for all
the selected sources. When in Effects Send mode, the Front/ Back Side text
at the top of the Krystal display indicates this mode is activated for the del-
egated channels.
