APPEARANCE
as shown in the following menu.
External Keyer Appearance menu functions include:
INVERT KEY
— when
ON
, inverts the key signal.
WAVEFORM SHAPING
— controls the linearity of the transition between the
background and the video.
ON
gives an S-linear transition resulting in a
more smooth appearance.
OFF
gives a Linear transition.
[DEFOCUS] KEY ADJUST
— provides access to the Defocus Glow menu, from
which you can adjust horizontal and vertical key size.
Soft Knob controls available in the
EXTERNAL
mode are:
CLIP HIGH
— sets the threshold on the input key signal above which the
processed key will always be high.
CLIP LOW
— sets the threshold on the input key signal below which the
processed key will always be low.
When the input key signal level falls between the Clip Low and Clip
High thresholds, the processed key signal falls proportionally between
zero and full on key levels. Setting Clip Low and Clip High to 0.0 and
100.0, respectively, results in a linear (unity gain) key. The narrower (or
greater) the range between them, the sharper (or smoother) the key
transition and resulting transition between background and video.
KEY OFFSET
— sets the left and right horizontal offset on the input key
signal to the video.
