Resource Acquisition Menu
PUBLIC — allows the Effect Manager to be acquired from any control
panel (access is not restricted).
PRIVATE — prohibits further acquisition of the Effect Manager by other
control panels. This mode would be used primarily in a live environ-
ment where it must be ensured that the Effect Manager is not acciden-
tally acquired and controlled during a live broadcast.
RELEASE EFFMGR... — to release the selected Effect Manager, press this soft
button when the Current Effect manager you have chosen with the select/
scroll button is highlighted.
Channel Resource Acquisition
Use this menu to acquire or release Krystal channels.
To acquire or release channels use the following Channel Resource Acqui-
sition menu functions:
SELECT/SCROLL — use the first select/scroll soft button to scroll through the
channels listed in the Channel Pool dialog box shown above in the menu
display. When this button has been depressed you may also use the
(SCROLL) soft knob to scroll through the channel pool selections. The high-
lighted channel selection can then be acquired using the ACQUIRE soft
button.
GET INFO — this soft button brings up information about the selected
channel and displays that information in the menu display.
ACQUIRE — press this soft button to acquire the channel selected with the
select/scroll button or scroll knob. The channel you acquire will be added
to the “Acquired Channels” dialog box shown above in the menu display.
