4.
Move the object to the desired screen positions using the Global
channel, inserting keyframes as needed. As the object turns into each
position, pictures on the object’s opposite sides will be created
automatically as they move into view, and the pictures will be inverted
as specified.
Easy Cube Invert and Horiz/Vert Reverse
The
INVERT
controls located on the Easy Cube menu invert the orientation
of the source image. Horizontal invert swaps the orientation left to right,
and Vertical invert swaps the orientation top to bottom. The Easy Cube
invert controls are included as part of the effect and are keyframeable. Once
these controls have been set, they remain active even when the Easy Cube
feature is turned OFF. The controls are included in the Easy Cube menu for
user convenience.
The Easy Cube
INVERT
controls are similar to the Horiz/Vert Reverse menu
REVERSE
controls. The Horiz/Vert Reverse controls, however, can be associ-
ated with a particular source, and can change if the source changes. Easy
Cube invert controls are not associated with any particular source, and
once activated will be applied to all the sources used by that channel.
The Easy Cube and Horiz/Vert Reverse controls are cumulative. For
example, if only the Easy Cube Vertical
INVERT
control is
ON
, the image will
be inverted top to bottom. If both the Easy Cube menu Vertical
INVERT
and
Horiz/Vert Reverse menu
VERT REVERSE
controls are on, the picture will be
inverted twice, and so return to its original orientation (the same as when
both controls are off). In general it is probably best to use only the Easy
Cube controls for your cube effects and leave the Source Memory Invert
controls set to
OFF
.
